Frequently Asked Questions
Every Project is unique but here are some common questions we hear from clients.
The length of time can vary quite a bit depending on the size and complexity of the build, location and time of year the build takes place. Also the number of projects we have on the go. But a general rule and average is about 5 months to a year.
Because we mostly deal with custom homes. Each client will be quoted based on the size, features and lot that the home willl be built on.
Upgrades are agreed up on during the build but will be tracked and will be billed or tacked on to the closing at the end.
Payments are made at the start of the project at signing of the contract in terms of a deposit which will be applied towards the home at the closing. This is generally 10% or less. Then the only other payment is at the end at the closing
Absolutely. We encourage to have each home unique so we customize and taylor each plan to suite our clients.
Visiting the Construction site during the build is allowed by appointment with our Construction Manager. Home owners should never visit the construction site by themselves or after hours.
If there is a delay in the build we will notify our home owners as soon as it is known and write up an amendment to closing date.
From time to time we will have a model or spec home to view. We also have many homes at various stages of construct that we can take client through to get a sense of the layout and size of the homes.
Clients can call the office and talk to one our friendly staff to get more information and pricing, or by sending us an email or filling out our web form HERE.
